On January 5, 2018, Derek A. Schroth, and associate attorneys, James A. Myers and Sasha Garcia, were successful, on appeal, in obtaining class certification on behalf of all those who paid “fire user fees” as part of their monthly water bill to the City of Ocala since February 20, 2010.
